Meet the Team

Founder & CEO
With a Masters degree in Community Psychology, Ms. Briscoe have been a Black youth advocate for over nine years. She has partnered and led events in the U.S. and international to promote positive development in Black youth. Ms. Briscoe follows in the steps of the late, Dr. Francis Cress Welsing, by creating programs centering community and civic engagement that allows Black youth to love themselves, as themselves.

Dorrian Roberson, B.S. (Black Girl/Magic)
Ms. Roberson is a secondary educator located in Houston, Texas. Ms. Roberson is a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community where she pushes for youth involvement in rural areas. Ms. Roberson strives in leadership as she engaged with CDF Freedom Schools and KIPP Public Charter School programs creating cultural activities to build marginalized youth's confidence and increase their school engagement.

Trisha Lafond, BSN, RN (Ancestors/ Wildest Dream)
Ms. Lafond is a registered nurse located in Atlanta, Georgia. Ms. Lafond is a proud member of the Haitian community where she provides educational support to the her patients in the Atlanta region. Under the Justice Is US Project, Ms. Lafond will assist the founder to build a program that provides medical educational opportunities for the female youth in Haiti pursuing careers in the medical field.

Tanneese Gibson, M.S. (Melanin Pops/ Severely)
Mrs. Gibson is an entrepreneur located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. With a Masters in Social Work, Mrs. Gibson uses her skills in marketing by creating digital content across all social media platforms. Mrs. Gibson specializes in K-5 educational content that draws in a diverse audience. Mrs. Gibson is also the founder of Hope in Red, that promotes youth discussion and opportunities for marginalized youth living with HIV/AIDS.
